First listed are Zombies. In truth, CYStH could be played with an all-zombie, no-mutant plotline, since there are vast numbers of different Zombies, with strength and power capable of challenging even tough, experienced players and characters. Zombies are separated by Strength Class (which determines things like HP, Attack Power, etc.) and by Social Cluster (which determines how they "look") with each Social Cluster having certain groups of Strength Classes assigned to them. Zombies are very dangerous, as just a few decent Bite wounds can seriously injure even strong characters.<BR><BR> Next, the rest of the enemies are categorized according to the Virus that created them. Mutations are separated into four distinct categories on their respective pages: Infected Creatures, Mutants, Sub-Regal, and Regal. Infected Creatures are regular animals and things that have been (purposely or accidentally) exposed to one of the Viruses and now crave flesh as a result (but are little changed from their original form). It is possible that the same basic creature may be listed for more than one Virus. Next, Mutants specify animals that, as a result of becoming infected, are significantly altered from their original form. This also includes the weaker bio-engineered monsters, deliberately created from scratch. Sub-Regal and Regal Mutations are just as they sound - the toughest creatures that the Viruses can produce, one way or another.<BR><BR> The listings of these creatures are primarily based on the information available in The Games, and has been augmented by various source materials. The creatures listed here, in the order and manner they are portrayed, is the accepted standard for the CYStH System. This is a game, and some artistic license has been taken with these creatures and various details about them to provide balanced, challenging gameplay and a "common story" that can be used as an example explaination of their origins and behaviours.
